Dire means like bad or fatal, i think
This is a group i made about the developing countries.
It's called "Chaos"
It's one of the many forms of governments, like Oligarchy, Anarchy, Monarchy, etc.
In Chaos, people who are usually "superior"(bigger guns for example) rule and they basically say what happens. They could say "hey, i'm taking y...
well if they sealed the barrels reallllyyy tight, and then launched them into the sun.... That could be the end of the problem.
I also think that scientists, environmentalists or whatever should learn to somehow use salt water and rid it of it's salt, and turn it into clean drinking water, because then we would have LOT'S to drink, and we wouldn't have to worry about runni...
No i don't, i don't understand why we don't use salt water for our energy needs, like why waste perfectly good, clean water on hydro dams, when we could probably use salt water?

This is the space that we are going to use for the last month of school to examine some of the major issues that are happening in our world.
What are the things that concern you? Where do you think our globe is headed? How do you think these things might impact your future?
Ning is new for us. A ning is a social network. You can each set up your own page, a blog, and post discussions for people to contribute to and form groups. This will be a learning experience for all of us as I have never used a ning in the classroom before. Lets see what you can do in our last month!
